Ahhh Christmas...

Really and truly my favorite time of year:) This year it was especially fun to watch Gwenyth open her presents!

We had a wonderful time at all 5 of our Christmases...thats right...5! (our little family, at my mom and dads, my dads side, my moms side and Michael's family! Phew!) I completely crashed after the 5th one though-so exhausted! Today I am back to normal-the house is clean, the new things have new homes and I have several bloggy posts planned! I was so blessed this year-I got an awesome new cricut cartridge (if you don't know what that is click here) and a fuzzy robe-(so I'll stop stealing my lovin mans)...and my sister-in-law gave me some fabulous Fiesta! eeee! perfect colors and everything!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is ready for 2011! I'm working on my New Years Resolutions now!

Fancy Friday!

This is way more 'edgy' than I usually go for-but I think its fun to dress up in all kinds of different styles:) Today I'm back in my usual 'throwback-to-the-50's housewife' look but every now and then I like to punk it up a bit ;)

I've been thinking about what to do with that big empty wall in our new room

I've also decided that this chair needs to belong to me...

Today I finished up all of my gift wrapping and tagging!

For some reason this years theme is...glitter? I'm not really much of a glitter fanatic but I got this glitter set on clearance and-really-its very pretty!

I also spent a few hours making these tiny paper houses! So cute! Also-they take forever to make...




so that is what I've been doing for the past few hours!

so thats what we've been enjoying - I can't wait to get started on the next room! I'll keep you updated on my progress on the blank wall and our next messy project

Christmas!

has it really been a week?! Sorry:(

I promise pictures of our new bedroom with furniture in it will be up today! We've sleeping in there for about a week now and it is just bliss...

the rest of the house has been decorated in holiday cheer! I love putting out our Christmas decorations-our tree this year is ginormous-I think its 8 feet tall!

even our bathroom is ready for Christmas!

I've been keeping super busy with festive preparations-wrapping and making gifts and gift tags, making a little village out of paper to put on top of the piano (it takes FOREVER to make one little house but they're so cute!) and trying to keep up with my normal household maintenance-which-I'll be honest-the laundry is really suffering! Its just not as fun as making tiny paper houses!

I have several posts planned for this week-to make up for my slacking! And most of them will be Christmas related-because-who doesn't love Christmas right!

Hello! Here I am! I fell into a deep Turkey Coma after thanksgiving but I'm back!! We've been making more improvements to our room and its done! The floors have to 'cure' for 7 days (which is agonizing torture to wait for) and then we're moving in!!!! I have baseboards! I have curtains!

I have an amazing closet!
